Like its sister model the Transita 120, the Transita 121 IR digital radio pays homage to the good old days of radio reception. The retro style of the casing is reminiscent of the 1960s, when Nordmende was regularly in the limelight by virtue of its product design. On the two-line LCD display, which sits in the top area between the elegantly finished knobs, the time, station name and additional information, can be easily read. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts for up to 24 hours. This makes the Transita 120 IR the perfect digital radio for those who enjoy listening to a lot of radio when they are out and about. In addition to DAB+ digital radio and FM stations, the Transita 121 IR also receives thousands of radio stations via the internet.

The RDS (Radio Data System) also enables you to receive additional broadcast information and alternative extra frequencies for the FM radio broadcaster you are listening to.

In addition to channel and other programme information, you can also see the time on the integrated display. The time information is automatically transmitted electronically along with the channels being received, so it is automatically set accurately.

This device features a convenient sleep timer with numerous configurable timer settings. This lets you end your day in a leisurely way, without giving a thought to switching the device off. The built-in radio alarm feature will wake you up to your favourite programme whenever you want.
